Two years old

Spirit is the daughter of BIS Ch Northwood First Solitude and a grand-daughter of BISS Ch Inglis Prairie Solstice, so she has some mighty big pawprints to follow.

Spirit never enjoyed the show ring as a young girl, but "came into her own" within the last year. We hope to get her out to a few shows each year just to see what she is capable of doing. In the meantime, Spirit is learning rally-obedience and is nearly ready to start competing.

Notice the point? It's the same as in the picture above. Spirit has been a "pointing retriever" since the day we brought her home.

Spirit showed me just how well she can show in August, 2005. I had never seen her move so elegantly and confidently. My hope was to get the last few points I needed on Sarah, but was pleasantly surprised when it was Spirit who did all the winning!
