Clips' first night at home - 11 weeks old

From the moment Clips' breeder announced her litter I knew we'd end up with another aussie. Randy has always wanted a blue merle male and - lo and behold - Kelly just happened to have a couple in her litter. We co-own Clips with Kelly and Jarvis of Risk'N Hope Kennels . Clips is a great-nephew to Brisbane.

Clips is quite a little character. He has taken a liking to our flat-coat, Jorja, and is constantly trying to get her attention. Those sharp puppy teeth have taken quite a toll on her coat! We're amazed at how well our adult dogs tolerate this high-velocity bundle of energy.

Clips has already started flyball training and Randy plans to start rally obedience with him in the fall. He's made his Australian Shepherd Club of America (ASCA) debut and will be going with Kelly to Wisconsin for the nationals in September.
